OMG! I went to GL weekend thinking this would be my first and last time going since David and Laura were leaving the show.
But Steph, Tom and John D really, really made me want to keep watching just to show my support for them. They made my weekend,
it was just plure blist. If you are a fan of GL you HAVE to make the trip to the weekend at least one. It is SOOOOOOOOO worth
it! Especially the boat criuse and the Bowling!
When we checked in the hotel we saw Danny Jr. from Y&R and he remembered us from St.Jude the previous year. We hugged
and gave him the pics we took with him from the previous year.
Friday- Jeva Event- Kinda slow, Reva and Billy Sr. showed up and Josh came an hour later. I took a picture on Billy's
lap. Kim said the show threatned her and told her if she didn't take the pay cut 8 actors would be fired but most of u all
knew that.
St. Jude!!!!!!!!!!!!- I met Tom for the first time and we instantly bonded. He talked to my friend on the phone. Robert
B was there and had on glasses, he was hot! He hung out with Mandy B a lot. When we saw Step G she welcomed me and my friend
with a hug. She remembered us from the baseball game and the caberet. After the show she let us eat her swedish fish with
her! We sat down and talked and she said she will miss Laura and she said she didn't want it to turn out that Jonathon isn't
Reva's son because they have been through too much. My best friend Candice is really cool with John D so she hung out with
him a lot, when he was on stage being introduced he spotted her and he told her to come up so she came up and hugged him while
he was still on stage! I told Danny Jr. from Y&R that he had to dance with us so at the end of the show he danced with
us! And while Gina T was being introduced I shouted her name and she looked at me and pointed and said Hey. I had emailed
Jennifer F (Jen, ATWT) like a month ago and told her I had made her a site and she asked me what my name was and I said Cheryl
and she was like she had gotten that email!!!!!
Sat- The boat cruise was kinda slow at first, just autographs and pics but then it got really good! Steph came over to
me and my two friends and was like "wanna dance?"! So we started dancing and we got someone to take a picture of
us all dancing. Then later, a bunch of people started dancing like having a dance off. One person is in the middle and it
was a circle around them cheering them on. So my friend Candice got in it, and then they played my favorite song "Hollaback
Girl" so then I got in it. Then next thing you know Ricky P came down and started dancing with us!!!!!!!!!! and then
Tom came out and danced, we were like woah! and my friend Candice danced with John earlier. And they threw away a lot of stuff
from the cast of mostly the people that were leaving and my friend Courtney won Laura W's earrings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said
she'd let me borrow them sometimes.
BOWLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!- TOM AND JOHN P WERE ON OUR TEAM! Me and Tom really got close during this time because he was beside
me for like 3 hours! He knew I sucked bad at bowling so he kept teasing me like saying if the ball goes into the gutter one
more time he's gonna roll me down there with it. Then I kept getting it in the gutter and one time I turned around he was
right behind me giving me a look that only Tom can do so I said "what had happened was" and he laughed and we kept
saying that to each other all the night. he said "I don't think Jonathon has ever used that line." and I was like
"Nope. only "this isn't our Dr. Phil moment." and we laughed some more. Then later he started singing a Lion
King song and I chimed in! My friend Candice knocked over his drink by mistake and he kept teasing her about that. And he
and John D wrote funny stuff on their shirts. I don't know if we are allowed to say what was on their because I heard Steph
tell someone "it was only for them." But if you see pictures from the events you'll see it anyway. Before we left
we asked Tom to sit at our table at the breakfast and he said sure, of course but he might be late. He never showed up to
the breakfast though. We got some really nice pics!
Sunday- The breakfast was amazing! Great food, great goodie bag! Grant A, Micheal O, Beth C, Crystal H, Jerry V, John
D, MKAdams and Scott Bailey was there. They were all very nice. Beth's baby son was there and I got a nice pic of her kissing
him on the forehead.
Luncheon- David and Jerry received round of applause and standing ovation when them came out. David remembered me from
the baseball game and kept calling me by my name. When I got to Tom's table he greeted me with a Hug and kiss on the cheek!
and we kissed my two best friends and I took a pic of his shirt that said "cousins rock". I gave him this little
plaque that said "a star is born". Paul A made a brief appearance. Pringles were on everyone's table and a lot of
people got Gina to sign it. After it was over we shared some swedish fish with Steph that we had got her and she gave us a
hug.
AFTERPARTY! -Well, it wasn't an official after party but on the 8th floor of the hotel it's a bar and I met a lot of internet
pals there and Tom P, Crystal C, Gina T, David M, John D, Mandy B, Frank D, Beth E, Robert B were all there just lounging
around! Tom greeted me again with a kiss and hug! While I was on the phone David M snuck up behind me and grabbed my shoulders
and ran away! hehe. A Micheal O massaged my shoulders since he had massaged my two friends shoulder at the breakfast so I
told him he owed me.
